Introduction
The National Council for science and Technology (NCST) together with its partners wishes to announce the call for exhibitions during the first Rwanda Science, Technology and Innovation Conference and Exhibition, whose objective is to provide a platform for information sharing and networking among scientists, technologists, innovators and industrialists from a wide range of sectors, including the academia, industry, the public and the private sectors. The theme of the Conference is Leveraging the Potential of Science and Technology to Mitigate Challenges Associated with COVID-19 pandemic in Developing Countries. The Conference will be held both virtually and physically on 31st March 2022 – 1st April 2022.
The Physical Conference will be held in Kigali at Kigali Convention Centre (KCC), Rwanda.
Eligibility and Quality Criteria for exhibition
Exhibitions shall be characterized with information about research and development covering Science, technology and innovation and
1) Willing to take advantage of the conference platform to showcase their innovative business activities/programs;
2) Have or are involved in activities/programs which are a result of research or informed/based on science, technology, innovation;
3) Have the possibility to pay / cover the cost of one Booth at KCC (254,218.85 Frw)
Physical Exhibitions
Physical Exhibitions will be limited in numbers because of COVID-19 SOPs, whereby for exhibitors whose Expression of Interest will be selected, they will be offered a 3m*2m exhibition booth. The travel costs, accommodation and logistics to and from the venue will be catered for by the exhibitors.
NCST would also like to note that exhibitors will cover the cost of their exhibition booth (3m x 2m) which is 254,218.85 Frw, as well as its branding.
